Change begins at home

Let’s make your living space work better for you.

How it works

1

Let’s chat

Reach out to share a little about yourself before hopping on a brief intro call with Abi.

On the call, you’ll share more about your home and your life. Abi will provide immediate next steps which you can start applying right away.

2

Receive your Personalized Plan

After the intro call, Abi will share a personalized plan that’s tailored to your situation.

Typically, your plan will involve a mix of remote coaching calls, “homework” for you to do in your space, and onsite collaboration with Abi.

3

Create a space which brings out your best

Together, we will fine-tune your living space so that it better supports your needs and vision.

You’ll leave our process with tangible improvements at home, along with new skills to enjoy and maintain your living environment.

“Our space is completely transformed from what was a giant cluttered pile of stuff into a beautiful room with a functional purpose. I go out of my way to spend time there now. The energy of the room went from chaotic and scattered to calm and grounding.”

FAQs

How is your approach different from interior design?

Unlike interior design, which tends to offer quick, prescriptive, “top-down” design solutions, Abi’s approach is a collaborative, iterative process which fundamentally assumes that individuals intuitively know what they need from their living spaces in order to feel nurtured, supported, and “at home.”

Drawing tools from UX Design, Somatic Coaching, and feng shui, this unique approach, called Psychospatial Coaching™️, places emphasis on the sensory and embodied experience of home, agile learning and experimentation, and making changes collaboratively, gradually, and sustainably. Rather than offering a shallow aesthetic “solution,” Psychospatial Coaching™️ empowers people with the tools they need to understand, improve, and maintain their living environments going forward.

I’m not sure where to begin when it comes to improving my home— it just feels “off.” I feel daunted and overwhelmed. Can you help?

Absolutely. Our work together will help you get more clear and specific about what’s working and what isn’t in your home. And, we’ll take an iterative approach through time, breaking the work into “micro-projects” which we will tackle at a pace that feels sustainable, not overwhelming.

I want some quick recommendations about what to purchase to make my home look better. Is this process right for me?

Unfortunately, no. If you’re looking for quick guidance on what to buy to make your home look a certain way, I’d suggest finding an interior designer. There’s no shame if this is what you’re after— but my approach wouldn’t be a good fit.

If we took a Psychospatial Coaching™️ approach to this problem, we’d first dig into your sensory and embodied experience in your current space to understand why it’s not aesthetically pleasing to you. Then, we’d generate ideas about what to shift, add, or remove to make the space more enjoyable. Finally, we’d experiment, learn, and fine-tune until the space really speaks to your senses. Typically, this involves a 4-12 week process with a mix of onsite and remote weekly touchpoints.

I need my home to work for my whole family— not just myself. Can this approach work for us?

Yes. We can utilize the Psychospatial Coaching™️ process in a group context to make sure living spaces meet the needs of the collective, whether that’s a family, couple, or group of housemates. In this scenario, we would allow a little extra time in our “discovery” phase to make sure we’re deeply understanding the needs of all people involved (even kiddos).

How much does it cost to work with you?

Our initial discovery call is free of cost. After that, if you’d like to partner together on a more in-depth coaching process, you’ll be given a personalized coaching plan that’s tailored to your situation.

The total cost of your personalized plan will vary based on project complexity, travel distance from the SF Bay Area, and the overall duration of the engagement. My goal is to make this work accessible to all, and sustainable for myself; I partner with my clients to find a pricing structure and payment schedule which works for both of us.
